Who we are
[Operator name], [address] ([contact email]) runs Opus Hub and is responsible for your data under the GDPR.
What we store
- Account: name, email address, password (stored only as a secure hash).
- Musician profile (optional): instrument, voice type, home city, year of birth, studies.
- Your dossier: saved opportunities, application status, notification preferences.
- Technical data: a session cookie that keeps you signed in and protects forms. We use no advertising or tracking cookies.
Visitors without an account: saved opportunities stay in your own browser (local storage) and are never sent to us unless you sign in.
Sign in with Google or Apple
If you choose “Continue with Google” or “Continue with Apple”, Google or Apple confirms your identity and shares your name and email address with us (with Apple you may choose a private relay address). We don’t receive your Google or Apple password and don’t post anything on your behalf. You can also set a separate password in Account & privacy.
Search engines
Search engines may show the title, type, city and deadline of open opportunities. Everything else, and everything about members, is only visible after signing in.
Why
To provide the service you asked for (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR): showing opportunities, keeping your dossier, sending the reminders you switch on. Fonts and all other files are served from our own server; no data goes to Google or other third parties when you browse.
Emails
We send reminders only if you enable them in your profile, and you can switch them off at any time. Emails are delivered through our email provider, which processes your address on our behalf.
How long
We keep your data while you have an account. When you delete your account, your profile, dossier and history are deleted immediately; backups are overwritten within 30 days.
Your rights
You can see, correct, download (Account & privacy → Download my data) and delete (Account & privacy → Delete account) your data yourself. You also have the right to object, to restrict processing and to complain to a data protection authority.
